Save %20 of your paycheck for the next 6 months and see if you still want to do something with your car.
Also, there is no "maybe" to boosting. What you do with your motor will depend 95% on whether there will be forced induction or not. There's no point to buying parts that will just have to be replaced later.

to get to 200 horse without boost or juice on our motors you would have to do a lot of things that wouldn't work with boost later down the road. Your best bet is to whip out a peice of paper and make a plan now and decide where you want to go with things. There has been talk of na 200 hp 2200s, but i've never seen one. Thats probably not a great goal to set on a modest budget. I really like notec's idea. I wish I would do stuff like that, but its more like one compulsive purchase after another for me. If you are deadset on getting some more parts right away I would reccomend the 2.3 throttle body, port and polished head, and the roller rocker conversion. That should get ya movin', and those are good mods regardless of which way you go with the car.

2.3 tb. local junkyard priced between $15-$50 depending on location and rarity. as for the rest do a search, it will be far more benificial for both yourself and the jbo if you learn what that button does. once you search you will see just how many people ask this specific question.

i dont mean to be a jerk, i was in your shoes at one point in time (and for the most part i still am) but simple things like this are redundant.

so go ahead search, theres a couple of threads that answer everything you need to know, if you still have questions you can pm me as i have done the swap personally or you can post your question in one of the treads containg information pertaining to your question, that will most likely have people reading it that can answer your question.
