Turbos like short duration with very little overlap. From what I've gathered from others here that push the limits of the LN2, A higher ratio aftermarket rocker with the stock cam should suffice. Guys, I know you're reading this because I just made a comment, so what do you think?

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

I got Crane's HR206-313 regrind for my turbo motor. Lots of lift, and still decent duration.
I would suggest choosing your duration and lobe centers for your RPM range, regardless of what the air induction system has.

if you are looking for a place that sells them there is:

IPP/Flatlander Racing
JBP (J-body performance)

I do not know who sells the Crane cams, I know they are out there (cause I have one myself)

Both of the places listed will grind whatever you want, IPP sells NEW and re-grind, JBP only has regrind.

With all the variables involved with a turboed motor, your best bet is to call your favorite cam companies and see what they recommend. They can do a regrind that will best match you needs, not a generic "turbo cam."

The JBP profiles are okay, but are way over-priced and require valve train modifications (such as their over-priced and too high rate spring kit). IPP says they have billet cams, but they are actually cast cores, not as durable as a billet core. With stock springs (which they were designed for) they should last without any problems, if the cam is hardened properly. They can also have Web Cams (who grinds their cams for them) can grind a cam to any profile, to fit your needs.

Crane Cams doesn't sell a cam for the 2.2L or the 2200s, but they will regrind one for far less than JBP. Comp Cams and Isky Racing Cams will do regrinds also for approximately the same pricing.

The lobes on the stock cams don't need hardening, but are limited to +/- 1* lobe centers and are limited on how much lift can be genreated. You also need a usable core to grind. Crane did the first regrind for me, but I'm looking to have Comp Cams do a more agressive regrind to my specs, for me next time.
