Im wondering if running a Honda Civic radiator would be to small for a boosted 2.4? Im lookin into ways of saving weight and since the stock rad is massive (i know its big for a reason) if i could just use the smaller honda rad and wont have any overheating problems.
You might be able to compensate for the smaller radiator by turning your fan on earlier. But there's gotta be weight to be lost somewhere else....
yah the rad is the last thing you want to skimp out on man...heat is the enemy as im sure you know....get rid of weight somewhere else..phil
Actually there is a few people running them. I believe they flow better than our stock radiator's, but I could be wrong.

you could always get the integra rad. its bigger than the civic one, kind of like 2 of the civic ones stuck together. its still nice and thin and should give you some weight reduction.

yea i know there is one guy on here with a full out drag cavi but that only runs like 12 secs at a time then is shut off to cool down. Im goin to be using this as a daily driver. I know theres other places to save weight but every little bit helps, yea know
i never understood them. the 88-91 civic rads were huge.. the 92-95 was like a foot by a foot and will keep a turbo b16 cool.. and they have higher compression..
would be a nice though.. give it a try and let us konw how it works

I know a guy who used an aftermarket Civic radiator on his turbo DSM, lots of heat there.
