I want to know if getting your throttle body bored to 62mm is worth it. So all you guys that have that let me know if it is worth getting done.

Thanks,
Stefan

I don't have it, but I'm sure if you have the supporting airflow mods (intake/exhaust) it'll most likely be worth it. If you're just throwing it on a stock engine, I doubt it.

It will move your power band up (on the 2200 at least). You will have more top end, and quite a bit less bottom end. Like Ron said though, if you have the supporting mods its worth it. Especially if you are looking toward forced induction (i might go a little larger there though).

The stock is something of 52mm, thats a pretty drastic change actually. I've heard exactly what has already been posted. If you have exhaust, etc., then yes, it will make a noticeable difference.

Thanks for the input, I have a Ecotec by the way, maybe that will help, and the car is getting boosted in december. Would love some more input from the Ecotec guys.
