I know where i can get an MSD 6AL igition controller.....Will this help my performance/will i gain power, or am i just wasting $80.00??

If you want a reply, you sometimes have to wait more than a couple hours, so chill out.
6AL, from what I remember, is for cars that use distributors. So unless you have an MSD distributor setup on an Eco, you can't use it. Look at DIS-2 instead.

and honestly, unless you have MAJOR supporting mods (the amount of which you would know that you needed an upgraded ignition... i.e. high boost, 100+ shot nitrous, extreme n/a build) you wont see any difference except the .001 of a second you pick up in the 1/4 because your wallet is lighter.

Where do you get your info. that you only need to upgrade the ignition for a 100+shot of nitrous?Rule of thumb
is to retard timing 1-3 deg. for every 25hp shot of n2o.

yes, but how many of you actually do that? really... how many of the n2o users on this site will actually buy the $600 box to run a 50 shot? or even a 75? yes, its much safer to retard timing with any use of nitrous, but that is the chance you take.
