whenever i put my car into gear my engine rocks like no other. adn when i go WOT my throttle body tends to hit the firewall. anyone got any ideas? i looked at it and it looks as though the insert has alot of water damage to it.

You can always try a Turbo Tech Racing mount, it is a complete replacement solid mount, designed specifically for your engine.

The headers are good but you will really need motor mounts before you do that. If your engine is that sloppy you will spend a lot of time fixing exhaust leaks. I would say get the motor mounts first before anyhting.

well yeah my parents were gonna buy the mounts and i was gonna by the exhaust. my friend got a 2.5 exhaust on his saturn sl2 and he says it didnt do anything for it at all. so i was wondering if getting a 2 1/4 would actually show improvment or would i just be sounding like a ricer and still getting 9 second 0-60's

a pacesetter header and 2 1/4 inch all the way back will give you a gain but probably more noticible in the top end. keeping the rice sound down can be done with keeping your cat and adding a resonator to smooth out the sound. you might not notice a huge gain though

cool so if i just keep the stock cat it wont sound rice? if i get a high flow cat does it add much or is it just for sound?

it shouldn't sound bad with the stock cat but you probably want a 2 1/4 in and out one like a magnaflow. you probably won't see much of a gain but sometimes they can throw lights from flowing too easily and interacting wierd with the o2 sensor. i don't have an exhaust system yet so i'm not really the best to give you those details but search and there is lots on it.
