Today I was wondering around Canadian Tire in a daze while waiting for them to install some tires on my car and I popped through their little performance isle they have. Though most of that crap in their is completely useless/or plain retarded, I was looking at the mufflers. I'm still picking out some parts I want to put on my 99 Z 2.4L, and I saw a muffler made by Ractive. It was the Stealth series or something, and said that it offers the straight through design but it is significantly quieter than normal performance mufflers. This is apparently achieved by the 'rifling' inside the muffler. I searched the internet and I wasn't able to find anything on these and was just wondering if anyone knows the muffler I'm talking about and whether it works or if it's a load of BS??
I have a muffler on my 94 Sunbird and 2" straight from the manifold back, and a Vibrant resonator that dampened the tone a bit, but it's still obnoxiously loud, which was great when I was 16, but I'm a little tired of it though I do enjoy the increased performance its given me which is why I want to take the stock exhaust on the 99 and throw it in the trees.
its just the regular straight flow fart can.
Anything from Isle is the Devil
