Hey guys! I'm new here. I look forward to hearing your advice. Anyway, I have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4L automatic. I blew the enginr last year and am going to try to get it up and runnin' soon. I have a 2.2L in my shop, and I just wanted to know if a 2.2L motor would bolt onto my tranny before I went and bought a ne motor. Thanks a bunch.
Nope, wont bolt up. Sorry man, but your going to have to get a 2.4. Which really makes you better off anyways seeing how much more powerful they are.
