i want to do the coil swap from the 2.4 to th 2.2 coils and i have a 98 z24 and a 96 LS parts car and i was wondering if the coils from the 96 would work the coils in the parts car are new i replaced them not 1000 miles before the car was wrecked so im not worried about them being bad
I believe the 97-earlier 2.2L coils use the older three plug style ICMs. You can drive the coils off your 2.4L ICM, but you can't splice your wiring to the older 3-plug 2.2L ICM.

alright i just called the junkyard and they got the icm out of a 98 cavalier for $25 no that that problem is solved where do i get the adapter and how much do they cost
