if i can not say the name, i do not buy
B&M come clear out of my mouth
i have that same one. it works absolutly perfect although some modification might be required. i needed to sand part of the ball that sticks out the side so that the plastic sleeve would fit over top of it. but it is a very tight and clean shifter. The shifter knob is heavy as hell and absolutly sucks ass in winter since it gets to the same temp it is outside lol.
cool thanks and just to check this says for cavy but both sunfire and cavy shifter are the say yes? so this will work just fine?
yes, all 00+ getrag trannies (sunfire/cavalier) can use the exact same short shifter. all the exact same bolt in design.
They're all generic from China, anyways... Leave the actual B&M shifter, which has been copied by many other manufacturers.

Agreed by Karo's quotes. Support USA manufactured products. There is quality behind the B&M with NO modifications, unlike eBay specials.

B&M All the way i love it
How am I suppose to support B&M when they dont even make it for the 95-99 Isuzu anymore?

They dont make it anymore because they did not sell enough...
Most likely due to the fact to many customers purchased "china manufactured ones, that are USA knock offs"
This will continue to happen, I am sure, which will put USA companies out of business...

i wish i could afford a b and m, being a highschool student on a mcdonalds salary is tough, espically when im trying to buy some rims too, to me the b and m price tag is steep, espically when i have read many people saying they have had no problems with ebay shifter.
i certainly wont be dropping the 150+ on a b and m, i was just looking for a cheap substitute. Do you think b and m would forgive me if i bought the cheap one now and when im done post seconary school and get a real job ill buy the b and my for my camaro ill also buy?
Yea its a shame that oversesa companies are slowly putting US companies out of business but like i said its really hard to support US companies with other companies make a quailty product for alot less, like in the case with short shifters.

Once china puts USA business out of jobs, that puts our (USA people) out jobs also, which is an effect that is taking place. So we wont have money, and china will.... One reason I personally believe why the USA dollar is not worth as much.
So you cant think of it as saving money, when you buy USA goods, you support your country; and allow your family members to have jobs.

It's all fine and dandy to support you local economy, as of yet I'm unaware of any Canadian companies producing short shifters as I am from canada.
I think that this is turning more into "support B and M, support the american economy rather than yes ebay shifters are great or no ebay shifters are garbage.
I'm going to support the americans soon also as i plan on buying products from TTR and the like but 150 for a B and M is just out of the question for my sunfire. I just want to here about people experiences with the ebay shifters.
I have probs with the Genkei install, my console is tore apart right now...it wont go into 1st gear @ all...and i snapped the lil plastic shift retainer...anyone have any ideas what i did wrong(besides buy a foreign shifter)
