Alright, i looked everywhere i could think of and couldnt fuind anything helpful. Im pricing out a build and cant find rod and crank bearings. Any websites or links? Thanks for the help. Oh, also i havnt done much with the ecotec, so whats with the balance shafts. i know you can get nuetral shafts but what do you guys suggest. Thanks again
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
You can get your bearings off of Jegs. But there are a few other site you can find them, Just cant remember off the top of my head.
You really have two choices as far as your balance shafts go. There is the GM neutral balance shaft kit, or Level Zero balance shaft delete kit. Honestly, for the price you cant beat Level Zero.

Thanks for the help. So what is the point of the balance shafts? I know its to help with the ribes of the motor but woudnt the delete kit cause more vibes? and why is there 2 of them? or it there one. I just decided to do an eco swap and i know nothing about the eco other than the basics.

Id go to the dealer for bearings. Or even GMPD. I purchased a complete set of rod and main bearings for $46. That was with my dealer discount but it wasnt that great.
If your just getting into the Ecotec, if you would like some easy pointers, look up the Eco build book. What ever power range you are looking for, it will show you how to build it. Full parts list with part #'s.
Where would i find said such book?
