ok this is a dumb question but i need to ask it. i am going to by a vibrant cat-back exhaust and i have heard some sound clips of it on you tube. now here is my question since i already have headers on my car will it be louder than the clips i heard on youtube? The cars on youtube didnt have headers. thanks
Your engine will be louder. Considering that a header frees up more airflow from the engine to your exhaust, I would assume it would be louder.

I have the vibrant with a dc sports header and it sounds great.
ive personally heard a completely stock exhaust except it had an rk sport 4-2-1 header (2.4) and it sounded pretty damn good to me, just a tad louder than what a stock car would be. but by no means was it obnoxious or annoyingly raspy. you can thank the stock muffler for this though.
your exhaust will be a little louder when using a header.

ok thats good b/c i have this fart can hanging out the back end and i desperatly need to get rid of it, not to say it doesnt sound good though
