Hello I have a 2005 sunfire (automatic) i just need to know what can i do to make 200+hp it has a 2.2 ecotec engine. i wanted to have a enough power to beat some hondas because all my friends are hating on it calling it the "@!#$fire" any ideas to help me show them up? (and i already but a AEM intake in the car)
GM Performance Parts supercharger will put you there. Stock for stock your already faster then most civics.
If your friends are raggin on you enought to piss you off, then you dont need them. Your young and will learn. My friends have 02' cummins, 02' WRX(300hp), 02' WS-6 Trans Am(400+hp the end of the month), and a 96' WS-6 Formula(300ish hp). Yea im very under powered, but i have fun in my car and thats what counts.
When you do race these hondas, go to a track. Dont do it on the street. Its dumb, ignorant, and dangerous.
thanks for that, i know i've been in a car crash, but i will look into it but i heard they could be alot so i might get that later on. so what else can i do im only looking to spend about 1000 right now. (yeah i dont need them

I would do a header and 2.5" full exhaust(if your def going with the supercharger), engine and tranny mounts, and maybe B&M shiftplus.
thank you for your help if i need any more help is it alright if i ask you?
I dont care. btw in order to have 2.5" exhuast your gonna have to haveit be custom made by an exhaust shop. There are also alot more poeple on here that have alot more knowledge about performance and whatnot.
the 2.4 ecotec manifold, they claim 10 to 12 horses from it, cams, all of those would be realtively easy
hop on in i've got a J
Have you seen the dyno sheet for the 2.4 manifold? You lose power up about 4500 rpms. You will only gain power from about 4500rpms to 6500rpms. Unless your engine is tuned and built for high rpms, it would be a mistake to get this manifold.
