I went through a huge list of mount questions, but they did not hit this question.
I need transmission mounts, I would like to know if I have to do the engine mounts at the same time.
I was told that you cannot do just one mount, or it will just make the new one wear quick from all the mounts being a different level of tightness.
If I get just the tranny mounts done, will the older engine mounts just accelerate wear on the new tranny mounts?
I don't know jack about the mounts...
I forgot to mention I was looking to get Prothane mounts for the tranny.
I know about the extra vibration from Prothane mounts and I am fine with that.
