i bought a cold air intake from ebay..im in the process of customizing my car and just wanted something for the noise of the cold air..it was cheap like 25 bucks..anyway i m gettin and idle problem..obviously when im idling for a couple minutes like in a food drive thru of something it likes to go from 600 rpms then jump to maybe 900 or so then it almost stalls out, so it seems but then it will idle just fine for a couple seconds and do it again..but it has never stalled or shut off..the car runs great after that stuff happens...does anyone know of y its doing that....

no. your intake is not the problem. sounds to me like a sticking/slow iac. clean it, and see if it improves.
