Street racing is the suck. Keep it at the track.

Beyond that, boost it.

Step 1.) Spend 3k and boost it.
Step 2.) Get pulled over for going 85 in a 45.
Step 3.) Start crying when a cop asks you to pop your hood.
Step 4.) Your car gets impounded. You spend a night in jail.
Step 5.) Your thread gets locked, and you mature a little.

You will be able to acheive 300whp if you save your money by not getting tickets. Trust me.
And you'll never drive again if you get convicted of vehicular homeside.

Listen F***ers. FASTERTHANAHONDA is a joke because I WORK FOR HONDA. I'll talk @!#$ about Fords to, that doesn't mean I can beat a 12 second mustang.

lol i dont think any thing is wrong with street racing.. it adds a little bit more excitement to the aspect of racing...
just dont do it on busy streets with alot of traffic, that way you are only putting yourself and the other driver at risk..
the risk you know allready going into the race..
if you are smart about it streetracing really isnt that bad..
IMO...

build your motor from ground up.. remove motor from your car..
put new every thing in it lol... new pistons, rods, bored, cams ,springs, stoppers, exhaust, fuel system, ignitionsystem, forced induction ect.

and if you do all this do it right.. reinforce every gasket.. EVERYTHING.. (sleaving is good) or you will hurt your motor bad!

hope helped a lil..

Why street race? I know you guys are saying things like, a race on the ride to work is still a race, etc. But if you put money into your car you A. Don't want to wreck it, and B. Don't want to hurt innocent people, at least I don't. and C. My own saftey, and finally, D. Deterrance because I reaaaaaaaaaaally don't want a ticket.

If you're running around with 300whp, just to say as an example, what in the hell do you have to prove on the street? The average honda is going to get dusted by you, so why not just save it for the track for some real competition on a drag night?

Just my 2 cents....

There will always be someone faster than you, but thousands slower and dumber than you.

A. Your just as likely to wreck at the track as you would on the street.

C. Your just as likely to wreck at the track as you would on the street, only advantage the track has is the rescue EMT or whatever other safety people are on hand for that particular night.

I can't believe you're having this argument with me, lol.

A. How am I just as likely to wreck on the street? All you need is the little 90 year old grandmother to pull out of the driveway and not look, or the soccer mom with kids in the back, yelling at them, who pulls out and you pile drive your car into the SUV, Killing her kids. Saftey is a HUGE issue with racing on the street... You're blind not to see that. Even if you like street racing, you could at least look at the argument, understand it, and comprehend the fact it's more dangerous to do it on the street.

B. My own saftey goes hand in hand with what I said above, if I T-bone somebody, I'm going to be in for a world of hurt, and it will be awhile before emergency crews arrive, where as at a track they're already there, and prepared for it in advance. Not to mention the poor occupants of the other vehicle I just hit.

You can say you're a good driver and all that, and you would NEVER hit anybody, I don't believe that for a second, but, what about the guy you're racing with? Is he as competent as you?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if you disagree, it's just frustrating when people don't listen to the argument and try to understand both sides of the argument that it gets frustrating.

i understand where both are coming from and every one is intitled to there own oppinion.
i like both.. track can only do soo much for me though..
but i only race on the streets well past 11:30pm way out in the boonies where there isnt any trafic except the state po that breaks us up.

yeah you got me there on the running into people on the street, i over looked that. certainly a good reason not to. but what i meant was like say you blow a tire, or lose control... something along those lines, your just as likely to wreck on the track as on the street. sometimes even more so on the track if some idiot sprayed the surface down with oil and didnt get off to the side and the clean up crew is in-competent.

and you said exactly what i did about the safety issue, so theres no argument left there hahahaha
