F.P.R. Install?
Saturday, May 31, 2008 3:11 PM
Does any one have any pictures of the bottom line installed? Im reinstalling mine and it doesnt seem like its in all the way. When i look at it i still can see a little bit of the o-ring and the little tab on that fuel line wont line up with one of those fuel rail bolts to hook up.

I'm a little confused on what you mean (pictures?) As for getting the bolts for the fuel rail back in.... they are a real pain to get lined up.... the first one is usually easy... but the second one will take forever and then suddenly just start treading in no problem.... the rail has to be in just the right spot.

he means he doesnt thinnk the return line (prertty sure thats the bottom one) is pushed into the rest of the fuel line far enough to like "click in" and thinks thats why the bolt holes arent lining up. Your best bet is to take it back off, wipe it off make sure there no sand or whatnot and then line them back up, and give it a good hard push and you should feel it pop in. then have fun with the bolt as weebel mentioned, i am convinced they are engineered to be a pain in the ass lol. just use a screwdriver on the bracket next to the bolt to try and help line it up and get the bolt in after that you should be fine.
