my check oil light is on ,but i just changed my oil, you think this is a bad sensor, let me know thanks (ld9)
did you check your oil??
perhaps there is a leak due to the oil change...loose plug, double gasket etc....
I would check your oil before thinking it is a faulty sensor.
i just checked it and its not leaking ,but i heard before that the ld9 motors are known to have those bad sensors just thought i would check here to make sure before i start buying sensors

before you start buying parts and throwing them at the problem. test the sensor.
Since you checked the oil and it is full, then I would go with the sensor being bad. I would check to make sure it is still plugged in as well. 96 was the only year the LD9 had that sensor. I think there is a reason.

Im no mod or anything but why is this in performance? unless you used some crazy fast Japaneses race oil and now your EOL is on...
