Dumb fuel line question...
Thursday, July 03, 2008 6:54 PM
I just want to say this must be a dumb question, but please lets keep this short and sweet. I picked up another 2.4 today. The engine I think came out of a Grand Am or something else, but I know it is an 01 engine. It has a different style fuel lines with a big circle thing in the middle of the line before it goes into the rail. What is this, and should I just swap out my lines instead since I just unbolted them and keep them attached? Thanks... Other then leaving my new plugs and some other small things in the back seat of the truck I rented my weekend was great. I guess I will just buy them again and return the others when I get them Saturday cause they are closed tomorrow.

I do not know exactly what is is, but have seen them on Grand am's and Alero's. I would use the rail and lines that is in your car, not what is on the engine.
