break in schedule for new cylinder head....

Should I be following any kind of a schedule for breaking in a new "remanufactured" cylinder head?

I put a new 086 on my 2.3 with 62k on the bottom end

Unless the head was installed with a gasket that needs to see re-torquing, there really isn't one. So just make sure it's installed properly & drive without worry.

Glad to see you did it right. Some re-use the stock head bolts which is a bad idea.

Uh, I should elaborate...

Before Fel-Pro introduced it's "blue"-series gaskets (Which never need re-torquing), some factory gaskets required you go-back & re-torque the bolts like you would on headers where they mounted to the head. Obviously if he installed the head properly like I pointed-out (And that includes using new fasteners!) he won't have a thing to worry about.

Not trying to start a fight... Just trying to make clarity.
