ok so ive searched and i still feel retarded cause i havent found what i was looking for. im trying to install a vacuum gauge in my 2004 cav ecotec. where EXACTLY is the best place to put the T-fitting and where exactly is the vacuum tube?

tee off the FPR....which is on the end of the fuel rail

Use a T and run one line to the FPR (on the right side of the fuel rail), one to the manifold (little nipple to the right of TB), and one to your gauge. I really don't think there is a "best" spot for it. I put mine probably 10 inches or so to the right of the throttle body.
