Just wondering. Someone's trying to sell one to me for about 100.
Do they actually work?
you would know if they worked if you even made an attempt to search
jet performance chips work 110% on our obd2 computers..

- Check the profile for all mod's. It's up2date!
oh yeah they work. everybody has one

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Haha, someone tried to sell me one friday along with a broken K&N intake. He swore that it worked.....
What do you have that take s a chip instead of a re-flash, anyway?
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
I've reflashed the stock computer, and made some headway. I'm just wondering if it even does anything to chip it, given some chips for other cars I've seen give significant gains. As for the schmuck w/ the rude comment,
I have searched. Maybe I'm just not looking at the right place, but i have looked around.
Where I'm from, aftermarket support for cavis are few and far in between.
OBD2 systems cannot be "chipped" only reflashed. OBD1 on the other hand can be "chipped".

that's everywhere! our cars aren't sought after in the tuning scene, so our best defense is to read up on all the info here and then make better faster cars then the ones out there that you can build out of catalogs!

don't call darkstars a schmuck.
and please refrain from going all caps lock on us for the title.
it doesn't make anyone think that it is more important.
and no don't get the chip its a waste of money.
you cannot "chip" obd2 cars.
Just save up some money and get hptuners
I think what the author of this thread is talking about is the plug-in modules Jet offers for the OBD-II years that I've seen in Jeg's. All they really do is "bend" the signals received by the ECM to make the outputs change in attempt to increase performance (Supposedly). This is not the way to go. You want to bend signals? Get an analog audio synthesizer that's nothing but switches. If you want to actually tune your OBD-II car, get an HP Tuner & learn engine operation & management. Then go at it.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
Nickelin, you're pretty much right.
and mine was tuned with HPtuner.
Then tuned back to stock to save gas.
We have it at around.....oh......$5.60 to $.5.75/gallon
Running 91 octaine after the tuning was making me go broke >.<
I'm in Vancouver Canada, so Cavi/Sunny support here is @!#$.
everyone does imports here.....
And buying parts are astronomical when it comes to price of shippping =p
