so after seeing a thread about a 2.4TC i got to thinking about my ECOtec build. after no luck in a search, im asking here

can the auto ECU and engine harness wirk witha 5 speed? my friend says there will just be some extra plugs that you dont use and a check engine light (dont care about that). is this true, or does its require the proper harness/ecu combo?
