i didnt know where else to put this but after i put my exhaust in my upstream o2 sensor is further then stock is it ok to cut and splice these wires?
"how do you get in"
so the code im getting is p1133 that has nothing to do with the fact i cut and spliced the wire its an o2 sensor code i know that much but dont know exactley what it is
"how do you get in"
P1133 = Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching bank 1 sensor 1 (Rear Bank)
You might want to check your splicing just in case it came apart.
Once you splice in youre wiring harness youre gonna want to get some heat shrink covering for thr bare wires cause, water and dirty get into there, Youre gonna have short in youre wiring, All some those butt connectors are no good for that either, Just twist the wires together, heart shrink them youre set.
Good Luck.
well i spliced the up one before the cat that one isnt heated though is it?
"how do you get in"
well, I am not sure about a 2.2 on a 98, but I have a 2.4 twin cam 98 and the upstream (one on the manifold) is not a heated o2. I am almost 100% for sure yours is not either. If it has 1 wire, then no, it is not a heated o2...
98z24, lowered 2", aem intake, cat-back striaght pipes!, cop ligths in the front and rear, 18" liquid metal's, primer black, tint, full audio and video.
