I ran into an exhaust flange for my 2.3 cavalier would it work if i buy a OBX,or any header for a 2.4 and have them cut the flange and weld the 2.3 one,or would it hurt the header preformance?

not worth it...the stock 2.3 HO exhuast manifold is larger than any 2.4 aftermarket header...other than having a custom header made with that flange your only other option is to bore out a HO 2.3 manifold..welding that flange to a 2.4 header will be a restriction

sorry scott... but i must point out the fact that although a 2.3 manifold might be larger then any 2.4 header, the fact still remains that is a header flows better and dissipates heat better. of course this is all speculation and bench modding...

is it larger then the dc sports header?
