Title says it.
They have the same bore. and Karo at allecotec.com just came out with some wicked awesome pistons for the lnf, I have an inkling they might just fit up in our bishes.
The stroke of the lsj is shorter, so the rods might not work, but I dont know if the piston is the same height.
Why? What would be the advantage of people using pistons designed for an LSJ or LNF over having Wiseco make you piston meant for your engine build to whatever spec you want?
turnaround time, cost, ease? having wiseco make youre own dsign is not only a hassle but a very time consuming process...

turnaround time is a valid reason. Cost doesn't really make much difference in buying parts, unless your planning on building an engine with used pistons (personally I wouldn't). I don't really think ease or being a hassle has anything to do with with it... you call Karo and say I want 12:1 pistons with valve reliefs, not really seeing the difficulty of that? But it will take some time to get them.
so your plan is to use Wiseco's meant for LSJ in a LS1 instead of Wiseco's meant for an L61 in a L61?
that makes even less sense now
Does wiseco make anything with reliefs like the top of those LNF'S, not LSJ,
direct injected pistons in a port injected engine?
i'm not understanding the advantage here...?
I guess everyone missed the fact that you'd have to use LSJ/LNF rods or have custom rods made since the wrist pin diameter is 2mm larger than the L61's (or you could put bushings in I guess). The pistons will fit in the L61 but it's really not worth it. Just give Karo a call and see what he can make you, he can get custom Wisecos for a really good price, that's where I'm getting mine from when I order them.

Hmmmm wait those pistons look like they are designed for Direct Injection,
Ohh Yeah x10000000000000000000

yea, if only the wrist pin diameter and the compression height were even REMOTELY similar from the L61 to the LNF...
LSJ people could use this piston tho.
thats gotta be the weirdest dome ive ever seen...

Every time I scream "Release", I mean it, you know it. I feel the day. Black 7.

Ever look at a diesel piston??
I didnt look into the pin diameters before posting it.
its as if this thread never happened.

No, you don't get off that easily. You started the douchbaggery, now it gets drawn out.

Douchebaggery? who are you? nobody I assume.
I saw them on cobaltss.net, saw the lnf and l61 had the same bore. and I didnt know until skwirl said the wrist pins are different, and it wouldnt work on l61 rods.
I saw the dome, thought it looked cool, and had to be worth some merit, if they went produced them like that.

Who am I? I am the person calling you a douchebag. I am also the person who does research about an engine before asking a stupid question. If you would have done ANY research at all you would have found the difference in wristpin size AS WELL AS the little issue about that piston being for a DIE engine... but no, you had to open yourself to the flame, and then, to make matters worse, you call me out... (This is gonna be fun.)

Borderlin3 is a dumbass.
I have seen his douchebaggery on here before and other forums.
He only seems to increase his ignorance with every post.
Still burning your tires all the way through third buddy? lol. Dumbass.

wow pistons for an LNF!
have you thought this through? considering the posts that I just sped through.. nope.
