Complete suspension setup for sale

I haven't posted it up yet, but I will get pictures for the Jacked forum soon. Recently I crashed my Z24. Insurance said total loss. I found somebody to buy the car for the engine and drivetrain, but I am selling my suspension setup out of it separately. I already have the parts taken off the car and they are ready to be picked up by somebody.

I am asking $700 for the complete setup. I don't really want to separate it, but it would make a really nice setup for somebody who still has a stock suspension and has been thinking about upgrading. Now you can do it right and for cheap at the same time! (Originally I have about 1400 in these parts)

For those of you still reading, the parts are:

Koni sport kit suspension (Koni yellow struts and Koni's springs, for a 1.8" drop all around). They are still together as spring/strut/mount units so installation is dead simple and should only require hand tools.

Addco 25.4mm (1") front and rear anti-roll bars with endlinks and mounting hardware.

Front and rear Vibrant polished aluminum strut tower braces.

RK Sport front subframe brace.

Eibach camber adjustment front strut bolts.

The front struts are on the pre 2000 style mounts, which were new at the time of install of these parts. The rear strut mounts were purchased new and modified to fit the Koni's (center hole drilled out larger to accomodate the larger diameter strut piston).

Pictures to come. Remember, pickup only, or I might be able to meet a person halfway in the tristate area. Anything within an hour is no biggie for me. (This includes Louisville, Indy and even Cincy as I am in the Cincy area on a regular basis).

Cash is best, I can take a check, but it will have to clear before I let the parts go.

I also have a triple guage A-pillar mount from A-Plus Performance, painted charcoal. I am willing to let that go for $25.

Remember, these are used parts in good condition, so no warranty by me is implied or provided. If you are from my area (Columbus, IN) I could probably be talked into helping you install them, should take about 3 hours or so total. Parts have around 25,000 miles on them.

PM me if you are interested, I will answer any questions as well as I can.

Sorry, didn't get it yet.

I'll try to have pictures of everything tomorrow night.

A-Pillar pod is a direct fit for the Cavalier, I don't know about Sunfires. You will have to drill at least one hole in the a-pillar to install the gage pod for a hold-down screw.

Probably around 23,000 or so. All the suspension bits went on at the same time. They're dirty, but otherwise mechanically work perfect.

Sorry BOO2point4STED, @!#$fire did commit to buying it first. If something happens there, you're next on the list I believe.

I can't believe that I'm getting more hits for the A-Pillar pod than the actual suspension....surely somebody needs a good setup close to me...

I'd rather not, plus I already have an offer for just those parts, I really want to sell this as a set, I don't want to be stuck with pieces left over.

Before

Way before, but with the suspension (wheelgap demo) The rear I think ended up slightly lower eventually as things settled in, but not much.

Is there anyway you can/have measured it to show the actual drop of the springs??

anymore pics?

thanks

Never did ever take a ruler to it, Koni claims a 1.8" drop all around. Probably right at 2" once it settles in. That particular set up handles like a dream. The ride is firm with the struts on the softest setting, and bone-jarring with them set tighter.

This is as close as I ever got to measuring them, and it's nearly impossible to do now, the suspension is already off the car and ready to install on a new car.
Rear:

Front:

Front and rear wheelgap is the same, the rear is hard to see the tire. 2.5 fingers-width of wheelgap, so about 1.75" total wheelgap on my car (running 205/55/16s)

thanks for the pics man!

I have the same springs although no struts yet, and i was wondering how much it drops the car. Where I am at now, i dont want it too low cuase the roads suck and i also drive it year round where ever i go, so i'm not sure yet if i want to drop it.......only time will tell i guess

How did you get those springs with no struts? I never knew they were available outside of Koni's kit...

Why don't you buy my stuff , the springs are already mounted on the struts and strut mounts so no spring compressor is required, plus you get a bunch of other good stuff to go with it to complete your suspension setup! Make me a decent offer, the main reason I don't want to separate anything is so that I'm not stuck with something left over. Buy the works, and sell what you don't use

if you decide to separate it id be interested in the sway bar and sub frame brace.

I got the springs from a friend that had bought the full kit and then decided to go with different springs

and I might think about buying the stuff but not for sure yet......

For updates:

The A-Pillar is to be considered sold, I have the money, I just have to remember to put it in my car to take it to Brown to ship it.

The suspension is pending, based on the buyer getting the money for it. I'll post updates here if anything changes.
