anyone in here from mass that went to stcc for automotive engineering?  i'm thinking about it after i get money for tools saved up.  I hear they're program is good and your garunteed a job.
 
I went to NEIT for Advanced Automotive Tech. I think that you think Automotive engineering is being a mechanic. Its not, its actually designing cars. But....   I may be misreading your post.
 
 
 
well the program i'm looking at will give you 8 weeks schooling, and 8 weeks working for a dealership as a mechanic.  so being a mechanic is part of it.  there's many things in this program though that seem interesting, like a windows programming course, learning about break functions, suspension systems and all sorts of neato things.  automotive engineering doesn't just focus on the design of cars though.
