this is a boneville ssei strut bar that was given to me so i trimmed it to fit and it works great .best part is it was free

there you go. What did you trim to do it?
Oh it looks like you only have it connected to one bolt.
One bolt = pivot points = not effective
Drill a hole into the strut tower and drop a nut & bolt in there and you'll be good to go.

Better than nothing but it would perform better if it used all three bolts or altleast two.

does the hood smack the brace when you shut it? it looks like it would to me.
good deal on the freebie, but like others have said, im really doubting its being effective being its only held on by one bolt on both strut towers.
My first strut brace was a lot like that, but I made it. Used two half circle steel plates so it would fasten to two bolts, put the plates on the car, and welded a piece of square stock to the ends. Took it off and painted it black, but later I replaced it with a Vibrant front bar after getting the front rear combo. Homemade bar is waaay stiffer that the Vibrant.
yeah useless... sorry dooder, the point of a strut brace is to keep the strut towers from moving/twsiting
