will the rksport subframe brace fit on 2003-2005 cavis? I found the part listed for older models on gravana but it does not show up for 03 and up. can anyone help with some useful information?

I have been wondering the same thing. All the places I have seen says it will only fit certain models (not 03-05) but I dont know why it wouldnt because for the most part all j-body suspensions are the same.

if i recall correctly, the subframe (cradle) has bracing added from the factory for those years. I assumed it is the panel with the large (2-3") holes punched in it?

These are easy to make yourself. Use square tube stock and a welder, or 80/20 if you don't have a welder.

steel or aluminum (6061) square or retangle stock,
something to cut it
drill
measuring tape
grade 5 bolts, washers and nuts

if you do a lil search you'll find a post about a homemade subframe brace. with pictures.

if someone wants to argue that the aluminum is weak I have pictures that will tell you otherwise. I got mine from a plae that makes boat trailers and had them cut it for me. if will hold up a 115 ft boat it will hold my car.

yeah, my aluminum one better be strong. It has taken a beating this winter. The only problem is, the snow is too high in my parking spot still, so I haven't had a chance to go under there and take a look at it
