I know that I probably already know the answer to my own question. I am in search of the lowest drop lowering springs for the cavalier. From what I remember it's between the Eibach Sportlines and the Road Magnets. Are there any other springs that give a lower drop after they settle? My car is my daily driver but I am going more for show that anything else with it so I want a real nice drop for the car.

I would say Sportlines with 2000+ mounts for the best drop and ride. I've never had been in a car with Road Magnets. For the amount of struts and shocks w/ springs why not do Tein Basics?
I already currently have D-specs and sprints. I had sportlines on my car before and the rear end of the car sat up alot higher than I was expecting it too.

Sounds like you need to get Tein Basic to adjust everything the way you want. Cause I feel my rear end sits perfect for me, but it is for handling instead of for looks. The Basic will let you do what you really want and you can raise it up more or lower it the way you want.
With 16" LS Chrome
With 18" SSR GT3's
With the 18's it sits alot nicer.
my car on 17's with sportlines and d-specs
my car on the same 17's with sprints and d-specs

Seemed like you wanted to buy the "Lowest Quality" (crappiest) springs...LOL.
Yeah I realized that after a couple times of posting it. Thanks, and hopefully most will understand what I meant.

Did you ever drop your car on the road magnets and if so do you have pics?

The Sportlines are rated lower then the Roadmagnets in height. Go with some Basic's and be done. I would tell you to get the 1" lower drop spring when you order them in the rear also. Trust us for what you want you need coils no questions asked. Sportlines have the lowest drop in the rear, and you are not happy with them so just move on to coils now before wasting more money.

I'm just tryin' to help you.
I also need to make sure my wheels would clear with the coilovers too. I cannot remember the offset of my wheels either. I wanna say that their 35MM, they came from a SRT-4. They're 18x7.5 with 235-40-18 tires on them as well.

Those are going to hurt you... That is a really wide tire to have on the 18's. I'm running 225/45/18's on the SSR's I know I'm running close to the fender that are rolled. If you are going for a slamed look 7.5 wide might push it with those tires. Get some pic's of the wheels and look up what they came in with that size.
As many times as we've seen you change your suspension I'm gonna have to agree and say go with the Tein basics. As for the tires you would be much better with 225/40s next go round.
just get air ride and be done with it.
The only reason I have 235's is because thats what came on the wheels and they were close enough in diameter that it wasn't a crazy difference.

Tein basics are they a spring and stur in one(coil over)?????
I have only prokits on my fire, and i want to go lower and have sprints in my garage but need new struts; but after seeing your cavy(cavy01) with sprints i think i am with you and want to go lower and my car is alos my daily driver all year around and in the winter; so i may have to check into tein basics

Here is the only pic I have of the silver cav on road magnets on my pc....I left the laptop at the g/f's I should have some side pics on that one. And the red cav is in the sig same rims with tein s-tech springs on yellows just like the silver cav.
you can honestly never make up your mind on a suspension and your mind is changing every week. just buy coilovers and be happy with it. thats the best thing you could possible do then you can adjust it weekly and have it sit how you like.
i'll be goin' w/ tein basics soon! 18's w/ a prokit drop is just not enough!
how is the ride quality w/ the basics?

I'm happy with my Road Magnets, but I wish everyday I would have waited and got the Tein SS's. But for the value, look, and performance I couldn't be happier with the springs...

AS much as i LOVE the prokit / agx combo and the great ride it gives... I'm going to have to agree with this...
Tein SS for me next time around on the sedan. Sun fire has the prokit and agx's now...
man.. i was thinking.. no way the01cav actually asked for low quality springs.. hahaha.
I'd say go with sportlines. My buddys cav looks way better with them, as far as i know its the lowest drop without getting air or coilovers.
