I am still looking for an answer on what aftermarket master cylinder people are running with their upgraded brakes. Mine is begining to fail. I know everyone says you dont neet to upgrade it. I have searched and found one guy running an SSBC MC but no part number in the thread. I emailed both wilwood and ssbc and they both said that they dont have any master cylinders for my vehicle.
Any other ideas?

the masters are the same as most GM ones.
they share the same bolt pattern to the booster.
You can use an N body MC for a cheap upgrade. You would have to re-plumb for a split diagonal system though.
yes you will need adapters, or flare on new ends into the master, but a wilwood or SSBC master made for a chevy will work. They bolt directly onto the booster.
I know the N body is a 1" bore. IIRC, the W body is also.
So I have to replace my master cylinder. I have completely stock brakes. Soon to have stainless lines.
My question is, what MC do I need? I'm assuming the 1 1/8" bore would give me a fimer pedal with less travel. I eventually want to go big brake 6 pot up front and discs in back. Will this big of a bore create issues in driving with stock system? Also, how hard is it to delete abs and is it a bad idea?
Oh ok. It's a street car and I love the twisties so modulation is an important thing... so should I go stock bore or 1" like the N-Body MC? Only MC's I can find on eBay are 1.125".
So with this MC and ABS, the primary goes to the ABS or are there two lines going to the modulator? I can't recall and I don't have it in front of me. :/
Regardless, with this and SS lines I should notice an improvement.
