I searched the forums a bit and found where people have "TALKED" about
knocking the mount welds off and moving them up to make the front struts
match the rear, but i havent read any case of anyone that has actually
done it yet.
So heres a forum search:
Has anyone knocked the bottom bracket mount and moved it to make the
front sit as low as the rear? If so, did you run into any problems? I'm thinking
about doing this in the next week or 2 and realize there is some cutting
involved (around the dampener adjuster), but is that the only negative thing?
any info is appreciated!
Professor J he moved the lower mount up on the frt strut on his cav.
I was going to do this and after looking at how much i would be able to move. it's not worth the time and effort for be to set a 1/2 inch lower.
