my 99 2.4 alt light is coming on only above 2800 rpm`s
any ideals what would cause that kinda problem?
Something wrong with your battery or charging system.
Your voltage regulator in the alternator is going. I had this happen on my 84. Replacing the alternator fixes it.
corroded + battery cable... very common problem on 3rd gens pull it off your battery and see if you have a bluish white corrosion between the cable and battery.... i had this problem on my 98
