Hey guys i need some help here. I installed a set of fog lights and they work great for like 3 days but then all the sudden they go out and i checked the inline fuse i wired from the power to the switch and it didn't blow the fuse but it actually melted the fuse holder in half

. i know that isn't good don't worry. i have checked all of the wiring and soldered/heat shrinked everything and it still did it once again after 4 days this time. i was wondering if there is some kind of relay that i am not aware of that i should be wiring in and how do i do this. thanks in advance
Yes there should be a relay. What brand lights are they? You should be able to do a google search to find a diagram of how they should be wired.

they are 3A racing brand from pep boys they are bright as any others i have ever seen i love them but what kinda relay ect. if you can help thats great.
If it's not popping the fuse then the fuse is either too big or the guage of the wiring is too small. I would beef up the wiring to at least 14ga.
