Hey j-body, i just want to be 100% SURE that the speakers i am buying will fit no problem (i recently bought a pair that DIDNT and i dont want that to happen again)
- So please only respond if you have experience with the speakers or know 100% sure they will fit, thanks
- My car is a 1998 Cavalier Sedan (if that makes any difference fitment wise)

The doors, the only problem you may have is the depth issue, magnet into the window.

The speakers are for the doors, and i already looked at the sticky, i was just wanted to get info from someone who has installed those exact speakers (either of the 2 i posted).

I have the first one's you pictured, in the doors with a 1/2" MDF adapter.. Also have a matching comp set for my kick panel pods... Also listed in my profile..

It wasnt really the depth of the spearker, rather the platic that surrounds cone to the magnet, that was stopping it from going in the stock hole. I could have cut the metal of the door to make it fit. But i would rather find a set that didnt require much fabrication (besides building the MDF speaker adapter).

okay i'll buy that, most peopels issues are usually the deapth. usually with that type of install it can be adjusted with the trim ring. the further away from the door u mount the speaker the smaller an opening youlle need. so allot of time you can adjust the mounting points slightly to get what ya need.
dont forget to seal the wood to the door and seal up all the holes in the door. that should help your sound out allot.

6000cs will for sure, check the specs on the new ones - I haven't seen those IRL yet.
