High pass Filter, most head units just call it an HPF what brand is this?

You might just have to turn on "LOUD"

what are you using for speakers?

Do you have 6x9s/Rear Speakers?

Are you using components? If so, make sure your mids are connected right.

What is the output on the Head Unit?

are your speakers sealed flush with the door?

if you didn't use a wiring harness make sure that u wired the speakers in phase. even if you used a wiring harness, although their 99% right i have done a few cars where they were wrong.

^^^^ speakers out of phase (+ and - switched) would definitely kill the bass.

ok, i thought of that, i dont really think its a case of speakers not mounted right, i think its simple like wiring, cause they were fine when we didnt have the head unit in
