I had to take out a bad battery yesterday, and now my alarm isn't working. Everytime I go to set it, it makes the bonk bonk bonk...bonk sound. No single chirp, just bonk bonk. Anyone has had this problem and does anyone know what I should do? Is my factory alarm toast now?

i dunno what bonk bonk sounds like exactly... like your siren is screwed up? or the alarm itself needs reset or something and gives a certain error tone?
Its the siren I believe. When I reset the valet switch, I get this sound, and then it continues in an even faster pace, like its replicating the alarm going off (but only in rapid "Bonks", no siren). Think of it as a repetitive chirp sound going off every second. It doesn't seem like it wants to correct itself.
