Ok, I am sure this has all been gone over before and I just don't know if I am not searching right or what. So I am going to ask again, please be gentle on me if it has been on here before or just direct me to the post. I am trying to figure out the differences in all these trannys and what will work and won't work. I have a 98 z-24 5 speed. What transmission is this? What other transmissions will work? What are the differences on these transmissons? What gears will work out of other transmissions in these cars? Thanks for any info you guys can give me on this.

I dirt track race and run 3rd gear. It is a little doggy coming out of the corners. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have the isuzu trans, you can swap in a different 3rd gear that is a higher gear, but cant remember what trans to get it out of?
