im looking to buy 17in wheels for my cavalier will these fit?
the size is 225/45ZR17. Bolt pattern is 5X112

no our bolt pattern is 5x100 not 5x112. even though its 5 lugs it doesnt matter. the spacing between the studs is 100mm as to 112mm. those wheels are machined for hubs that are 5x112.

ok so only 5x100 fit and what size tire can i fit?
yes only a rim that is 5x100 or a universal 5 lug will fit.
depending on the rim size will depend on the tire size. look at the sticky at the top of this forum for tire sizes
