I have a 91 z24 and there is a plastic on plastic noise when I steer. It doesn't happen all the time, so it's hard to troubleshoot. I took off the plastic molding on the steering column and noise is still there. Any thoughts? Thanks, Bash

One thing that I forgot to mention, it also makes a clunking sound. I can feel that in the steering wheel. It's frustrating because it doesn't happen all the time.
