How do you install them? Also, are they like a flat black or shiny black? I know the left and right ones are the same. I might order them from gmpartsdirect.com because they are only like $20 each. Thanks for all the help 97cavie24ls.

they are kinda simi-gloss black , they are vinyl

clean the door sill , then apply

you can use a mixture of water and dish soap , so that you can move it around if you think you cant get them on straight

then use a straight edge to work out any air bubbles and get it stuck down , a credit card , drivers license , work pretty good

So are they just stickers, or are they thicker and just have some addhesive to hold them down?

There a little bit thicker than that...and are a little rough to the touch...did you still want a pict. of them installed...as they came from the factory...on mine.

Yea if you could post a couple pics that would be great. Could you be sure to take one of the thickness, if you can? And have you had any problems with them coming off or unglued or whatever?

They are a textured black plastic that are basicly stickers. You can order them from any dealer.

yeah on a black car they wold look odd

why they didnt do slver to match the silver stripe cars i got no idea

but you could get 1 of them , and have a local shop copy it in silver so it stands out more

since they are the same part # for both sides

AtK2008 - I hope your not thinking they suck!

I would stand out more if it was a silver under the red that shows thru the sticker part

Thats what I wish they would have done on it.

No, definetly not saying they suck. It's just I don't think they would look as good as yours because I have a black car. I might have a shop copy them into silver like 97cavie24ls said to do, but not right now. I saw some cavalier door sills somewhere else and I thought these were them, but they were different. I might try finding those or I will just buy these ones sometime.

Yeah black door sill plates on a black car may not stand out so good.

they did all kinds of billet stuff
