I was wanting to either fiberglass or paint my interior if i painted it would it look as glassy as fiberglass or no and which one is easier i do believe from what i have read painting is. I have already got everything sanded and cleaned.

You can sand down the texture on the plastic peices such as the bezel, console, door, and bottom dash, do the prep, paint, and clear, and yes, it will look just as glossy.

Now the top dash is covered in viynal. It is extremly dificult to make the viynal look glossy and smooth like the rest, but it has been done. I will not go over that though.

There are two popular ways to do the top dash. One is the tear the vyinal off and sand down the texture of the plastic underneth and follow the same directions as above for the plastice peices.
The other way is the glass over the viynal. I am not very knowledgable in F/G so I will let someone else explain that.

Had you looked about 5 posts down, you would've scene this post which cover the painting your interior to look like fiberglass Smooth and glossy.

HOW TO - Repaint Your Interior

And for fiberglassing you dash, you will not fiberglass over the vinyl, but year it off and fiberglass the plastic. If you look on page 4 I believe of the above post, it is discussed.

from what i hear on the top part its risky going that in f/g... do to warping.

Now it can be done other wise those people out there wouldn't haev it done. i will go over the basics on how to get it ready for glassing.

1 - get all the crap off the top down the the plastic
2 - scuff serface with extremely course sand paper
3 - drill a crap load of tinny holes so the fiberglass can hold onto to something more (you will need to ass a layer on the bottom of it if im not mistaken)
4 - layer your mat and resin mixture down
5 - place it back in the car so it doesn't warp as it cures
6 - let it be for 3 or so hours
7 - have a nice time sanding!
8 - prime, paint, wetsand clear wet sand clear ...

as long as you sand the hell out of it. and use some high build primer and sand some more. ive redone my dash 4 times and its still not perfect. im always finding spots i missed. so have fun.

fiberglass can shrink upto 48 hours after the intial drying time, i'd leave the piece in there overnight at least before i took it out of the car.
