Ok, i have a 98, z24 cavalier and it rained in my car. Now my seatbelt light wont quit showing. I want to go inside my instrument cluster and remove or cut the wire to the lights on the left side were all of the warning lights light up in the cluster. Can I do this without messing with the speedo or rev guage? And if so, what do i have to do? I know how to remove the cluster, but how do I get inside of there and replace everything and keep it looking like I have never done it?
98z24, lowered 2", aem intake, cat-back striaght pipes!, cop ligths in the front and rear, 18" liquid metal's, primer black, tint, full audio and video.
Dude I'll save you a lot of trouble. Just unplug the connector under your seat for the seatbelt. It's way easier and you save yourself 15 minutes to remove the dash pad and reinstall it later.
People can't learn common sense. You're born with it. Either you have it or you just don't!
If that doesnt work just put some eletrical tape in the seatbelt light slot blacks it out nicely
