ill let a couple more throw some guesses
Judging by the dust pattern on the intake and the comparative cleanliness of the strut tower brace... I'm gonna say that the STB is the new goodie

that obvious huh? well u guys are right. it handles like a dream with my drop, i couldnt imagine how much better it is with the rear brace also. I dont really know how to clean my engine tho, i was gonna hand clean some stuff. i dont wanna short out anything. anyway, best thing about tonite is that the guy with the red z above, is sellin me his stock lip kit. i love the clean look of a cav with simple lips so im gonna get that on get my repairs to the body and cruise around like that until i can get my s/c.
gto is not a gm small car
but good luck with the car, i was going to guess new filter on the warm air
as far as cleaning up that engine bay, get two cans of engine degreaser, spray it on, rinse it off, will work wonders
oh yeah and get a supercharger

of course gto isnt, he's a friend of the yellow cav (ecoclean on here).
u thought that filter was new? that thing is old as heck but i periodically clean it.
there's nothing electrical that i have to worry about messin up when i spray and rinse?
s/c is in the works....
not really, most people will reccomend that you cover the alternator, which wouldnt be too hard for you seeing as though you dont have a supercharger to work around, and remove your filter and you should be good, everything else is pretty waterproof
good god that engine is dirty, nice way to treat the ld9

no it doesnt
you just think it does.. just like when people say they can feel more power from the intake.. your just looking for a change, and you think you see one
put a couple more grand into the suspension, then it might handle like a dream... but other than that, it handles like a lowered stock cavalier

wait till its a train with no tracks, thats a dream
