I'm going to be working on a friends miata and i'm looking for some info or tips...something....if anyone out there knows these older engines ..theres some oil on the oil pan also on the front of the engine behind the belts it looks like...so any info would be great

yeah bro i know its a gasket....but if someone knows these engines changing this stuff out would be easier with some tips....i looked up online and these engines i guess are bad about their front crank seal going bad at like 50k. So i'm thinking maybe this is the problem and it going down over the oil pan. I dunno but if someone else has been here that would be super lol..
