dual exhaust? pick some universal mufflers u like and have a shop fab up some piping... thats not hard.... other stuff might be cuz new car=less aftermarket

Yeah duals are easy. Any muffler shop worth a damn can make you up one. Grab 2 mufflers and tips of your choice and hit an exhaust shop.
Anything else ? If so the sites listed above are great places to start.

Get the SS and need nothing....Thats what I did.
Get the SS and get the Stage II supercharger upgrade
^^^which would be the sex
Start learning how to do fab work. And make your go fast goodies yourself instead. Aftermarket parts being is expensive is the price you pay for picking a newer car with little to no aftermarket support. (yet if ever)

you make it sound so easy, lol. That would be ideal though.
Statements of no aftermarket and then asking for dual exhausts cracked me up so hard.......
OK.....but on your engine (baseEco 2.2) there's so many parts for that thing, c'mon. Even some of the 2.2eco parts while fit on the 2.0. The s/c'ed engine is just destroked, its not a totally different engine.

Yah I know. Don't get me started thou, it is a "bolt on" world where people should be able to order whatever they want and it should fit perfectly, without any hassle, any research, work, or modification on there part.

oh i'm on the cobalt ss forums but i was just wondering basically if any 2.2L ecotec parts would work because for example cavalier exhast and intakes are way cheap than the colbalt...
Intakes wouldn't work because the intake is setup on separate sides of the engine bay in the balt, than the cav...
Exhausts are essentially the same but I don't know if the hangers would match up, most likely not....
All valvetrain parts would fit......
Cams, Head, blah blah would work
I wouldn't touch the pistons, crank, or similar parts if going for parts for an SS
But every serious mod should work if going from ecoJ to EcoCobalt (non SS)

Just as with exhausts, intakes are easy to fab as well.
You need some pipe, a reducer and a cone filter. You can take the pipe into
a shop and have it bent to your specifications.
Presto! You have a new Cobalt intake that didn't cost $46464316574.56 to buy from your local aftermarket supplier.

Yea i have the same problem as well. I cant find hardly anything for my cobalt. The SS ones are fairly easy to find parts for but the base 2.2 you just cant find a whole lot for.

What do you really need that you can't make or buy yet? I already have a hood (thanks to matt and jim at gravana), 17's, and soon to be boosted.
well i know there are things for the cobalt out already but since its still new there arent many companies that have products for us yet so we are just paying out the ass for parts that in a year or so will be significantly cheaper.
thats what i really meant by its hard to find parts
