Hey everybody I'm swapping a 3.1 into my fiero later this year and was told that I could bolt a gm3.8 supercharger onto a 3.1 is this true? Thx in advance for your help.
Jamie
Not without excessive fabrication, the 3.1 and 3.8 are totally different engines that have nothing to do with each other.

208whp 239wtq
13.7 @ 102mph 2.19 60'
your better off getting the 3800 s/c motor and putting that in your fiero
damnit I got told it was a direct bolt on. Can I have true duals on a turbo 3.1?
Probably...
Of you want to go v6: 3800 Series III or better. It's been done LOADS of times, and I think West Coast Fieros has an actual kit for it.

My friend rob has a ZZ4 crate engine in his fiero and it looks totally stock. He mated a northstar tranny to it and a 200hp direct port nitrous shot. Does a wheelie halfway down the track.

Thx for all the input so far a want 2 put a modded 3.1 in because it's a direct bolt up and everything plus it's reasonably light any suggestions for future mods are welcomed
the 3.8 will make more power , and has more support
if you wanna keep the 60 degree V6 , the use the 3500 or the 3900
the 3500 is around 200 hp , and the 3900 is 240
3.1 - 60*V
3.8 - 90*V
new intake manifold, pulleys.... well, everything. not to mention, it'll blow the bottom half up.
just skip all of those little weenie engines and stick an LT1 in it. sure, it's heavy... but who cares! you'll have a friggin V8 in a fiero!

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

Yep^
Well it's official I've decided I'm going with a supercharged 3.8 with a manual transmission since wcf makes it pretty much a direct install
I'm still trying to fix the ignition I just cant turn the key foward im waiting for a wheel puller so I can put a cylinder in for the key also doe's any one know if the steering whell lock pin being broken would stop me from being able 2 start it?
well, just ask if you need help with the 3800. they can be made pretty powerful pretty easily... it's just a little expensive, too. who makes the tranny? as far as i know, there isnt a direct bolt on manual transaxle for a 3800. or maybe it's that there is, but they cant handle the torque. watch out if you do go manual, the torque on those engines can and will rip apart trannies. they're working on putting the 6 speed from a G6 in one... but that's a bit off subject.

On the wcf site it says it'll bolt directly to it ,if not I'll make it.

Does any one know or have a rough idea of what I should be running in the quarter mile with a mildly modded 3.8?? and thanks again for all your help I would have been a very poor boy with lots of parts for sale lol.
the muncie/getrag will hold a 3800 s/c motor
even with the stock 3.8 pulley a fiero will run low 13's , with good traction and driver
the north star will run the same times , but there isnt alot of aftermarket for it , plus they cost alot more
3400 will bolt up directly as well, and make a lot more power than a 3.1. and they're pretty easy to turbo

The more I look into the more I get hyped up for the 3.8 my swap will cost more, but I can't see where as it's not worth it for the power I gain right off the top.
