They need to mass produce that thing and bring the price way down. It's actually street legal in the UK but I am doubtfull it will be here in North America.

x2 dosent the US require safety gear such as air bags and doors. unless they classify it as a bike but hmmm. it could be classed as a luxury car, iirc the t-rex is classed as that. im figuring it'd be classed with the t-rex yet would need a few more specific US add-ons cuz you know how anal our gov is when it comes to importing cars.

secondly the base model comes with a 2.2 ecotec if I remember... next level is an na type S motor (rsx) then the next level and highest is a SC RSX Type S motor

That not exactly right. There are only 2 engine choices on the US spec, a 205hp, 200lb-ft Ecotec or a 220hp 144lb-ft Honda engine.

Actually, scratch that. I just tried their configurator and there is no Honda engine on there at all. The options are:
GM Ecotec 2.2 Liter 140hp 150ft/lbs (Avail Q3 2006) $33,299.00
GM Ecotec 2.0 Liter 205hp 200 ft/lbs Supercharged $38,790.00
GM Ecotec 2.0 Liter 230hp 205ft/lbs Supercharged $39,950.00
GM Ecotec 2.0 Liter 245hp 215 ft/lbs Supercharged $41,110.00
GM Ecotec 2.0 Liter 300hp 250 ft/lbs Supercharged $43,640.00
Those are the base prices, and they can go WAY up from there depending on configuration of the chassis, wheels, body, and other race components. The "race package" which is mostly loaded and has the 300hp Ecotec is $78,277.
