I was with my dad at the Audi dealership picking up his new 06 A4 2.0T
... and i went snooping around looking at the TT, the other A4's A6's, and fanticizing on how Matt Teske's Audi looked soo freaking killer with the suspension he had on it and the BBS style wheels... They had a huge ass wall poster with this car on it on the back wall and my Jaw just dropped. I questioned the sales guy about it and the base price $66,000 ish.....
... Guess i have alot of saving to do...
My dads little A4 has some balls compared to my cav, after i begged him to let me drive it, i could only image with that V8 420bhp power plant could doo...

yea, they are really nice cars. i don't know how i feel about the huge audi grill though.

not every cares about power. drivability, luxury, options, etc etc. You cant always look at a car and say "$X for Yhp". However, I do think its a bit over priced.
still even for luxury its way out of its league for that price.

I agreee its a bit over priced as well. There is just something about it that gives me warm tingly feelings all over. I wish i could afford an audi.. my dad's stickerd for freakin 36K.. Eh, maybe down the road...

Id rather have a lexus when it comes to luxury. But that CTS-V on steriods would be kinda sweet too

Nice Audi! How does he like the A4? We looked at one and ended up buying an 06 Volvo S40.....got a better deal on the Volvo.
I PDI'd two of those at work when our dealer got them in. they are really nice. fast, the new FSI 4.2 is a great engine! the ones i prepped were more expensive(71000) maybe had more options idk. but ya it is fast, well made and certainly a head turner. i would compare it to a 996 carrera if i had to describe the speed. plus the "S" button on the dash is cool, makes the exhaust sound deeper.
too expensive though.

and the blue they have is freakin sweet

theyve had rs4 wagons(avants) in europe for years now. same with the rs6.
It is a nice car. I've seen it in action. It runs consistant 13.0 -13.2. Not bad, but I wouldn't pay that much for a 13 second car, however it is a four door. So, I guess I'm kinda impressed.

The RS4 is hella fast, with gobs of torque. And the reason you pay $66k? It goes around corners, it looks great, and it's a beautiful and luxurious car.
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
I would have to throw the RS6 in the "Tits" catigory, since that car is the FRICKIN' TITS!
Yes, the price is a little too high for me. I think they should price it around $55 or so. I can't imagine paying more then that for a car unless it does the dishes and takes out the trash. I'd rather take a cheaper car and put money into it to compete and call it custom to myself.
BUT, if I had the money, one would be sitting in my garage, that is for sure.
